A challenging market As part of Thompson Estate's vigorous export push, Jane and Peter visited Edinburgh with Wine Australia recently. Wine Australia's role in the export market is important and is having an influence, but the UK market continues to be a challenge. Anyhow it's fun. Thompson Estate now in 5 states in the US
Jane and Peter visited Thompson Estate's agents in the US during March. Nine Liter Imports are focusing on Australian wine, with Thompson Estate as one of their premium offerings, and the only brand from Margaret River.
Customers in Colorado, New York, California and Texas are now enjoying the best of Margaret River chardonnays and cabernets. Nine Liter is prominent in the Colorado market, and next ski season, skiers will be able to enjoy Thompson Estate in one of the world's most famous apres ski location, Little Nel at Aspen.
